LIFESCIENCES &
MEDTECH.

Specialist recruitment for medtech, health technology, pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO businesses across Singapore and APAC. We place the commercial, technical, and regulatory talent that brings products to patients.

WHY SPECIALIST

Lifesciences hiring carries risk that generalist recruiters underestimate. Regulatory pathways, clinical evidence, and reimbursement shape who can actually do the job. We recruit inside this world, so we screen for the substance, not just the job title, and we protect confidential searches.

Sector Depth

We focus on medtech, pharma, biotech, and CRO businesses, so candidates are screened against real regulatory, clinical, and commercial context.

Discretion

Many lifesciences searches are confidential or business-critical. Retained search gives the discretion, market mapping, and structure these roles need.

Assessment

We assess for substance: evidence of impact, domain depth, and the judgement to operate in a regulated environment, not just a matching CV.

Inside the Sector

SUB-SECTORS WE COVER

Five lifesciences markets, worked deeply rather than broadly. Devices and diagnostics, pharma and biotech, outsourced development, digital health, and the tools layer underneath all of them. Open one for what the work involves and the titles it produces.

Common Questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What medtech and lifesciences roles do you recruit for?

Commercial and market access, from sales and marketing through to reimbursement and senior leadership. Regulatory, quality and clinical. Technical and operations, covering R&D, manufacturing, and the service and applications layer. We work these across medical devices, pharma and biotech, CRO and CDMO, digital health, and life science tools.

How do you run a confidential search for a senior lifesciences role?

Retained, and mapped before anyone is approached. The company is not named in the first conversation, the longlist is built from the market rather than from a database, and candidates are qualified on fit before they learn who is hiring. It matters most when the role is currently filled, when a competitor would read the advert as a strategy signal, or when the hire is the first person into a new APAC function.

Which markets do you cover for lifesciences recruitment?

Singapore as our base, the core Southeast Asia markets, and selected APAC countries for regional and country-level mandates. Regional registration and access experience is usually the deciding factor in these searches, so we screen on which markets a candidate has actually operated in rather than on where they are currently based.

Why does regulatory and quality hiring need a sector specialist?

Because the titles are portable and the experience is not. A regulatory manager who has registered a device in one ASEAN market and one who has run a six-market submission carry the same title and are not the same hire. We screen on submissions filed and audits closed, which is a conversation a generalist recruiter cannot hold.

What does a senior leadership search involve?

A market map first, then a direct approach. These mandates are usually about building or turning around a business rather than maintaining one, so the screen is on what the candidate has actually built, the P&L they carried, and how they work through distributors and regulators. Title matching does not survive that conversation. We run them retained, because the strongest people are employed and are not reading adverts.
